Flatiron Steel is Hiring a Delivery Driver Near Colorado, CO
Flatiron Steel is a rapidly growing family-owned company. We are looking to expand our Delivery & Standing Seam department in our Colorado Springs location. We are looking to add on a full-time Delivery Driver / Standing Seam operator. No experience in standing seam necessary, we will train the right candidate.
You will spend 55% of your time learning & operating our standing seam machines on various locations based on customer's needs. 45% of the time will be delivering materials to various customer's locations.
This will teach you a new trade where you will be performing the required tasks to complete the job. This is not a delivery driving only position. The position will require a class A CDL.
Monday through Friday schedule 8am to 4pm
Duties:
- Operate forklift to load vehicle.
- Schedule jobs.
- Ensure materials loaded are accurate to paperwork.
- Plan daily route.
- Call customers with ETA.
- Work with customer to produce/unload in most convenient place possible.
- Return all paperwork at end of shift properly filled out.
- Assist and learn in Standing Seam jobs.
- Keep vehicles clean.
- Notify manager of any repairs or maintenance needed.
- Learn on Standing Seam jobs.
Qualifications:
- Class A CDL (Required).
- Forklift operation (preferred).
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass drug screening.
- Ability to pass FMCSA background check.
- Current driver's license.
- Organized.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude.
- Able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly.
