About this Role

The HR Generalist has, as its primary responsibility, running the daily functions of the Human Resource department and the long-term success of Flare Construction, LLC. The position reports to the HR Manager and is directly responsible general HR duties with a focus on recruiting and onboarding to support the Company’s projects, operations, management, and office. The position works jointly with the operations and management in supporting HR functions. HR Generalist duties shall be in compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies.

What You'll Do

  • Recruiting/Onboarding
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to ensure talent needs are met
  • Ensure accurate employee records are maintained
  • Utilize HR systems for data entry, recordkeeping and reporting
  • Employee Support - Serve as a point of contact to employees on day-to-day HR-related questions. Inquiries could include questions regarding payroll, benefits, and general employee-related matters.
  • Escalate sensitive and complex issues to senior HR leadership.
  • Special projects - May participate in HR-related projects and initiatives

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR Certification. (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word required
  • Must be able to pass a drug test(s)
  • Ability to reliably commute to office location in Coalville, UT 
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with professionalism
  • Able to work independently and flexibly on a broad variety of responsibilities and projects
  • Self-starter, ability to multi-task
  • Adapts easily to change
  • Takes initiative, is a problem solver, and sees opportunities for improvement as a challenge that can be overcome
  • Able to motivate and empower others to reach organizational goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good organizational skills.
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
