The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager, Superintendents, and Project Executives in managing the civil project(s), which can include electrical substations, powerline rights-of-way, heavy civil, and remediation. 

What You'll Do

Responsibilities:

• Assist the project manager in overall project planning, value engineering, and risk assessment.
• Develop strategies for workflow, quality, risk management, and achieving the goals of the project.
• Assist the project manager in meeting project goals regarding schedule, budget, safety, and quality.
• Assist the project manager in monitoring overall project performance and outcomes.
• Work with the project manager to develop work plans, manage and track costs and materials, and schedule equipment.
• Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications.
• Self-starter and strong work ethic.
• Communication, scheduling, and coordination of subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Perform onsite duties for projects in Utah and surrounding states.
• Work with project managers and superintendents to provide a safe working environment.

What You'll Bring

Qualifications:

• A degree in an associated field is preferred or actively enrolled in construction management, engineering, or a business management program.
• Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s).
• E-Verify check required.
• Valid driver's license and good driving history
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, and applicable engineering programs.
• Good written and oral communication.
• Must be able to interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction specifications.

Requirements:

• Reliable and regular attendance 
• Work overtime and weekends as the project dictates.
