Five Elms is hiring an Analyst on its Financial Performance & Operations team. The Financial Performance & Operations Analyst will work closely with the Five Elms Financial Performance team, which supports value creation efforts at the portfolio companies, Internal Operations, and Investor Relations. Select responsibilities would include:

• Support the Director of Finance with quarterly reporting requirements, fund and management company accounting, and other duties as required.
• Support the Financial Performance team with quarterly valuations, quantitative and qualitative investor updates, investor requests, and fundraising requirements as needed.
• Support the Financial Performance team with portfolio support, ad hoc analyses, benchmarking, and other duties as required.
• Lead project management efforts for annual audits, SEC filings, and other regulatory requirements.
• Perform and maintain capital allocation & portfolio management analyses.
• Other support as required to support strategic decision making across the organization.

Is Five Elms right for you?

You have the right experience and interests: 2-4 years Audit, Fund Accounting, Transaction or Valuation Services, Corporate Finance, or other relevant experience.

You are naturally curious. You will stay up to date on current and changing reporting trends in the private equity industry with the potential to become the subject matter expert in performance and investor reporting. You will help create comprehensive and repeatable processes to keep our colleagues and investors informed.

You are proactive. In additionto completing critical analyses for both our colleagues and investors, you will also be responsible for implementing process improvements to make these analyses more efficient and effective.

You love the details. There are hundreds of details to track. You understand risk in financial processes and love to execute strategies to mitigate those risks.

You are an exceptional communicator. This role has significant exposure to senior leadership at Five Elms, and requires excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal.
