GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Reporting to the Director for Student Diversity, Equity, and Belonging Programs. The Program Coordinator is responsible for organizing logistical support for the mission, vision, and activities of the Center for Diversity and Inclusiveness. With impeccable care and deliberate decision-making, they will provide the foundation needed to effectively execute holistic campus diversity and inclusion efforts. The program coordinator will support heritage month initiatives and training opportunities within the Center for Diversity and Inclusiveness (CDI). Will advise student organizations, collect data to inform their practice, and facilitate dialogues for our student populations. CDI as a working environment is welcoming, engaging, and enjoyable. The program coordinator will receive transparent, developmental, and very considerate supervision in an environment that prioritizes communication and holistic care for its employees.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Advise a portion of the affinity-based clubs such as The Black Student Union, African Student Association, Latin American Student Organization, the First Love Bible Org, and the Asian Student Organization
2. Hire, train, and supervise CDI Ambassadors in their assigned duties
3. Support the Director in producing and collaborating with key constituents across campus on the development of programs, workshops, and training such as but not limited to:
4. Explore the identity-based theory, helping to address challenges of bias that might inhibit student development
5. Partner with the Director to develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate key programmatic initiatives and other markers of success
6. Provide campus-wide updates on diversity and inclusion initiatives via electronic newsletters, web updates, and social media
7. Conduct research on specific topics, including national and international diversity issues, academic/curriculum diversity, administrative organizational structures, student trends, and other issues as assigned in order to develop innovative approaches to directly support students
8. Work regular evening hours during the semester and occasional weekend work
9. Participate in campus-wide events such as Orientation, Open Houses, and Future Falcons Day
10. Flexible time arrangements will be discussed to ensure a mindful working experience
11. Other duties as assigned

This is a full-time (permanent) 10-month, benefited, exempt, professional APA position. The annual salary range for this position is $50K - $52K based on 10 months.
