Reputable Houston-based Credit Union looking for a Member Service Representative to join their team! This is a full-time opportunity.
Primary Duties :
- Assist members with opening and closing all types of accounts
- Process wire requests
- Handle card issues, disputes, stop payments and all other member service functions
- Answer questions about products and services and resolve problems
- Interview member loan applicants to develop information concerning their loan needs, earnings, and financial condition;
provide loan application to Loan Officer for completion
- Acts as member's advocate in offering credit union products and services
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements :
- 1 3 years of teller experience in a financial institution
- 1 year of experience opening checking and savings accounts in a financial institution
- A high school diploma or GED required
- Customer service focus
- Excellent computer and verbal and written communication skills
