Job Title:Vendor Services / Risk Management Coordinator- Temp Position
Reports to: Manager – Vendor Services & Risk Management
SUMMARY
The Vendor Services / Risk Management Coordinator - Temp is a project-based temporary position and is responsible to work on a defined set of vendors. Vendor Services Coordinator is responsible for managing the company's vendor verification programs to ensure a defined set of association vendors meet the company's requirements. Additional accountabilities may include setting up and adjusting the status of all vendors in the accounting systems and researching invoices received from vendors not yet in the system.
The day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with special projects, maintaining databases; excel and various applications; interfacing withoutsourced verification company,insurance agents and brokers, community managers and associates, vendors, and board members as well as Client Accounting personnel as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
The responsibilities of the Vendor Services / Risk Management Coordinator include, but are not limited to the following:
Interface with vendors, managers, brokers and outsourced verification company to verify all Association vendors
Internet research to obtain contact information for vendors
Contact vendors to provide information on the company's verification program, explaining its benefit, and keep a call / email log in the verification database.
Assist vendors to work with outsourced verification company to meet the company's requirements
Assist Community Managers and associates in understanding vendor verification requirements and process
Notify Community Managers of changes in vendor verifications
Notify Community Managers when a vendor needs a board resolution, providing them with necessary information. Follow up and keep track of the progress.
Maintain and update vendor verification databases, reports and documents
Other

Identifies issues and risks arising in day-to-day operations and propose solutions to improve results
Contributes to building the department as an effective and valued resource within the company
