firstPRO is now accepting resumes for a IT Support Engineer role in Boston, MA. This is a 6 month contract and onsite. Pharma experience preferred.
Position Overview
Our client (biotechnology industry) is searching for a Laboratory IT Support Engineer to deliver excellence in technology and support services during instrument integration phases to enable a secure, frictionless, lab user digital experience. You will be responsible for providing deep IT expertise to both scientists and external vendors during integration projects. This includes enabling the effective use of innovative tools to support R&D teams, working directly with laboratories, teams, and individuals. The Lab IT Support Engineer will also function as a shared resource for general Enterprise IT support. A typical day primarily entails working with end-users and servicing their technology needs. IT Support Engineer is responsible for assisting with projects, researching solutions, training users, improving documentation, and responding to requests via ticketing system or phone support. This will be an onsite support position and will require the ability to travel between different buildings and locations.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to Relocate:
- Boston, MA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
