Edge banding Machine Operator

Duties and Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited to the Following

• Operate edge bander to edge cabinetry and cabinetry parts.
• Work with CNC operator to sort cabinetry parts and bring them to respective departments.
• Operate grinder, sliding table saw and other machines.
• Engrave doors and frames with engraving tools.
• Work with team as needed to assist in other departments, performing tasks such as:
• Cabinet parts assembly/reassembly.
• Processing parts.
• Building parts and assemblies.
• Work with Finishing department to create custom edges.

Qualifications

• Must have experience operating an edge bander in the woodworking industry.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Team-oriented attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.

$22-28/hr, negotiable based on skills/experience level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Experience:

• Woodworking: 1 year (Preferred)
• cabinetry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Edge banding: 3 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Central Islip, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required)
