of Ottumwa is looking for Direct Support Professionals (DSP) offering flexible schedule options! Our agency serves individuals who come to receive assistance from Direct Support Professionals with gaining the skills necessary to maintain independence in their homes and live the most fulfilling life possible! In this role you will be assisting clients with all personal cares needed, work on goals the clients set, assist in medication passes, engage in social outings and community activities when able, and being an advocate for our clients.

Pick up shifts where needed or self-scheduling. Part time - Work at least once a week up to 32 hours per week. Pick up shifts where needed or self-scheduling.

Full-time - Work up to 40 hours per week. Pick up shifts where needed for additional overtime. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) you will be there to provide support, assistance, and instruction in learning independent living skills like : Community Awareness / Integration Socialization Cooking Personal hygiene Goal Setting and achieving Communication and self-expression needs Coping skills Requirements : High School Diploma or equivalent.

Thorough training will be provided during your employment to excel at this position! No previous experience required! Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record and show proof of auto insurance.
