Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of property management, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Fair Housing regulations
- Maintain accurate records of property operations and financial transactions
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure it is well-maintained and in compliance with safety standards
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Market available units and screen potential tenants
- Prepare and execute leases in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Collect rent payments and enforce lease terms
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize occupancy and rental income
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and Section 8 program is required
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of real estate administrative processes, including Yardi software, is desirable
