Background:

First Element Insurance Planners (FEIP) was created to serve as a strategic partner to fee-only registered investment advisor (RIA) firms to add significant insurance and estate planning expertise into the comprehensive financial planning process. With a specialized focus in objective risk management (life insurance, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance, annuities, etc.) and estate planning (individual transfer tax and business planning) solutions, First Element Insurance Planners serves as an extension of an RIA’s team and makes addressing insurance planning comfortable and easy.

Director of Strategic Partnerships

Reports to:

Managing Director

Purpose and Description of Position:

The purpose of this position is to expand First Element’s client base in the fee-only RIA space with the goal of generating substantial revenue for the firm. As the Director of Strategic Partnerships, this position is dedicated to initiating relationships with RIAs, gaining commitment to the firm’s insurance planning model, and facilitating ongoing relationships. As the Director of Strategic Partnerships, this position is designed to initiate relationships with RIAs, gain commitment to the firm’s insurance planning model, and facilitate the relationships with RIA firms and their advisors and personnel.

A candidate for this position must have an entrepreneurial, self-driven mindset and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a business-oriented major.

· Experience generating and qualifying prospective leads

· Experience managing a significant volume of outbound and inbound communications with leads

· Habit of routinely meeting and exceeding client and company expectations

· Experience and comfort with presenting in individual, small group, and potentially large group settings, both virtually and in person.

· Experience in working with an affluent clientele is viewed favorably.

Compensation:

Base salary and incentive compensation create earnings potential in $75,000-$90,000 range in year one, with potential for additional earnings growth in subsequent years.
