First Children Services is currently seeking a BCBA Clinical Training Coordinator to join our growing Team!

This position will support our New Jersey Region.

 BCBA Clinical Training Coordinator Position Description:

Employment Status: Full-time, exempt

Reports to: Director of Quality and Outcomes

Job Summary:

Are you a passionate BCBA looking to take on a leadership role? Join our team as a BCBA Clinical Training Coordinator, where you'll maintain a small billable caseload while overseeing training initiatives in collaboration with our Quality and Outcomes team. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on clinical practice and staff development.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a required 40-hour per month billable caseload.

  • Conduct initial and ongoing functional behavior assessments and develop/update behavior intervention plans.

  • Create behavior datasheets and conduct baseline data assessments for treatment plan goals.

  • Complete assessments and required documents for insurance authorizations.

  • Monitor data collection and review session notes from direct support professionals.

  • Consult with interdisciplinary team members as needed.

  • Ensure relevant team members are trained in student-specific programming and data collection.

  • Create and maintain program materials.

  • Develop and oversee ongoing training initiatives to ensure staff competency and compliance.

  • Collaborate with Compliance Officer to ensure state-specific training regulations are met.

  • Assist in identifying retraining needs and compliance gaps following system audits.

  • Develop a department-wide training calendar and maintain training trackers.

  • Provide clinical and operational supervision, training, coaching, feedback, and evaluation to assigned trainers.

  • Ensure direct reports maintain outlined billable hour requirements and conduct assigned trainings as scheduled.

  • Observe trainings conducted by direct reports and provide prompt feedback/retraining as needed.

Education, Experience, and Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in special education, psychology, applied behavior analysis, mental health counseling, or related field.

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification.

  • 3 to 5 years post-certification experience developing and implementing ABA programs.

  • Previous training experience preferred.

  • Appropriately licensed in the state of practice.

  • Current clearances and certifications as required by state regulations.

  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
