We seek Christ-centered professionals who want to join a team of disciplined and talented superstars committed to working together to accomplish our mission. The Graphic Designer is responsible for providing Graphic support for worship, ministry promotion, and church-wide events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce and be efficient in both print and digital Graphic Design work
- Produce weekly Sunday Worship Bulletin
- Produce ministry print and digital materials including flyers, booklets, postcards, social graphics, email templates, and more
- Produce churchwide and ministry specific signage needs including posters, building signs, retractable signage, and more
- Update weekly slides for First Baptist Dallas digital signage
- Function in an interactive and cross-functional relationship with all other ministries and support areas of the church
- Communicate with external vendors regarding packaging files for print items
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Communications Manager

- Fully committed to the Senior Pastor, Executive Pastor, and overall church ministry
- Fully committed to biblical Christian principles and teachings professionally and personally
- Fully committed to demonstrating characteristics that reflect a person of faith and a lifestyle of biblical integrity
Professional & Education (Certifications or Licenses)
- Embody the Green Team Characteristics and work according to Operating Principles
- Must have a bachelor's level degree in Graphic Design or an equivalent field of study
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience creating graphic designs and branding and marking concepts, strong proficiency working in Macintosh environment
- Must possess a strong proficiency in Mac OSX, Adobe Creative Suite 4 (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Adobe Acrobat and PDF creation, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Flash
- Must be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment with extremely tight deadlines
Physical
- Must be able to sit for long periods
- Must be able to lift to 10 pounds
- Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods
