POSITION SUMMARY: As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently processing various financial transactions. You will interact with customers, handle their inquiries, and promote banking products and services. Your attention to detail and accuracy will ensure a smooth and secure banking experience for our valued clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting cash and non-cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and fund transfers.
• Balancing cash drawers and reconciling transactions at the end of each shift.
• Processing loan payments, credit card advances, and other financial transactions.
• Assisting customers with account inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information on banking products and services.
• Identifying opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services to customers.
• Collaborating with team members to meet customer service and operational goals.
• Staying updated on banking regulations, product changes, and industry trends to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.
• Ensuring compliance with all banking policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Assisting customers with account inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information on banking products and services.
• Responding to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email.
• Ensuring compliance with all banking policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area for efficient customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in banking, customer service, or sales is advantageous but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with customers effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Knowledge of banking products, services, and industry regulations is a plus.
• High level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining customer confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, customer-focused demeanor.
• Proficient computer skills and the ability to use banking software and systems effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
