CJ's Home Decor and Fireplaces is Hiring an Office Assistant Near Warren, PA

Our growing e-commerce business is looking for an in-house office assistant to help with the daily office responsibilities. If you have attention to detail, are proactive, and have good communication skills, this job is for you.

You will be an essential part of our office team, working with both our admin team and CS teams. You will also be responsible for providing support and working with our customer service representatives. You will compile data and maintain records as requested. You will assist with processing quote requests, tickets, and other customer service related duties.

NOTE: LOCAL APPLICANTS ONLY! This is not a remote position.

Office Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answering customer questions, providing information, taking and processing orders, addressing complaints
  • Answering phone calls and calling customers and vendors to follow up on appointments and deliveries
  • Compiling, maintaining and updating company records in Zoho CRM Take care of RMA's from our online store in a timely manner.
  • Process returns
  • Ability to diffuse confrontations and handle upset customers
  • Update the customer master file with contact information
  • Copy, collate, and prepare reports as requested
  • Maintain live documents and sheets related to quotes and sales
  • Provide support to our customer service and sales department
  • Process quotes from our manufacturers and give quotes back to the sales department.
  • Handling customer complaints and resolving them in a timely manner
  • Strong follow-up skills to quickly respond to issues and meet all deadlines
  • Strong mathematical skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions
  • English communication skills (written-spoken-read)
  • Any other assigned office tasks

Office Assistant Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to type at least 40 WPM
  • Ability to proofread; attention to detail
  • QuickBooks experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software
  • Basic understanding of office equipment
  • Sales oriented mindset
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
  • Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to support and assist other office staff as needed

Salary commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
