Fireline is a full-service contractor that specializes in the design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.

Due to growth within our organization, we are looking for aController. This role is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Accounting Department to include financial statements, month-end financial procedures, accounts payable, accounts receivable, Work-in Process (WIP) reports, job costs, billing, cash management, taxes, insurance, payroll, and other financial reporting/projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations of the Accounting Department, which includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
• Generate monthly financial statements
• Provide budgets and forecasting to management
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implement a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk
• Recommend benchmarks that will be used to measure the company's financial performance
• Provide financial analysis
• Work with external auditors and provide the needed information for the annual audit
• File quarterly and annual reports
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
• Perform other related duties as necessary

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• A minimum of 10 years of related experience required, preferably in the construction industry
• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred
• Excellent leadership and supervisor skills
• Proficient in accounting, payroll, and tax preparation software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
