We are seeking driven, full-time Production Team Members who will support our tile manufacturing operation in Aromas, CA.

This is a critical position at Fireclay, as this Production Team Member will become one of our artisans making the world's most beautiful tile.

Production Team Members are front-line employees who work as part of a high-performance production team and are conscientious of correctly and safely performing one or more assigned activities that are part of our tile manufacturing process.

Production Team Members are willing to be cross trained in all aspects of the production process up to and including basic assembly skills, complex assembly skills, general machine operation and glazing of tile.

This full-time hands-on position will be based out of our beautiful Aromas, CA location has potential to grow within our organization.

This position starts at $16 per hour and we provide shift differential pay for those who work evenings and graveyard. In This Role You Will :

• Assist with the preparation and mixing of the raw ingredients used to form our tile and glazes
• Assist with the inventory to pull orders and materials needed for departments, such as Glaze, Mosaics and Hand Painting
• Sort, lift, catch and package tile in a safe manner, while inspecting for quality
• Work in positions that require constant repetitive movement
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Model Fireclay Tile mission & values by consistently acting with Honesty, Kindness, and GANAS
• Partner and assist other departments or take on additional tasks as needed

You are a great fit if you possess :

• Flexibility to work part-time and report on short notice
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Ability to solve practical problems, using logic and self-sufficient under general supervision
• Ability to adapt as our factory and organization evolves
• Have no problem getting your hands dirty when needed

We are looking for someone who is / has :

• Ability to function as an effective, determined and active team member
• A great track record when it comes to attendance, reliability and performance
• Ability to organize workload for effective implementation
• Thorough and pays close attention to detail
• Teamwork Oriented
• Bilingual (English / Spanish), although not required and are open to Spanish speaking as primary language
• Preferably local to the San Benito County area
• Has the GANAS and to excel and improve each day

Physical Requirements

• This role will be based out of our Aromas, CA location. This is a manufacturing environment with loud noises and some exposure to dust and the natural environment.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
• The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• The employee must regularly lift and / or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move objects up to 50 pounds.
