Finemark National Bank is Hiring a Receptionist / Teller Near Naples, FL

Position Summary. This position provides various services to FineMark’s clients. Performs regularly as a receptionist and as a teller. As the first point of contact in the office, responds to client inquiries and resolves basic client concerns in a professional and expeditious manner. Serves as back-up to relationship bankers, offering and providing banking services to clients as needed. May refer to, and/or collaborate with, other professionals within the bank to provide additional services including, investment and trust. Ensures compliance with all federal and state banking regulations and established bank policies and procedures.


Essential Job Functions:
  • As a receptionist, warmly greets all clients and visitors as they enter the office; offers refreshments and ensures their comfort
  • Answers incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner; answers inquiries or directs callers to the appropriate area for assistance
  • Addresses client concerns expeditiously to achieve satisfactory long-term resolutions and client satisfaction
  • Provides teller services and ensures all teller transactions are accurate and completed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Prepares all documents for encoding, balancing, and processing; balances currency, coins and checks daily, reporting any discrepancies
  • Prepares currency transactions and suspicious activity reports, as required
  • Handles cash shipments to/from Federal Reserve or other offices
  • Maintains banking logs and records according to bank policy
    Provides account research, account maintenance and online banking / bill-payment assistance
    Based on individual client needs, opens a variety of deposit accounts (checking, savings, money market, IRAs, and CDs) as well as, providing other services such as sweep accounts, remote deposit, direct deposit, wire transfers, and internet banking
  • Based on client needs, refers clients to other professionals within the bank to offer investment, trust, and lending services
    Develops and fosters long-term client relationships by consistently providing an excellent level of service in all client interactions
  • Maintains contact with existing clients to enhance the client relationship and develop referrals
  • Uses Salesforce (contact management system) to maintain client files
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned by management

Position Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two years’ teller experience
  • Prior relationship banker experience a plus
  • FIS banking software experience a plus
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills required
  • Planning/organizing skills - the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Possesses ability to make decisions with limited supervision
  • Regular attendance at the FineMark location designated in this job description, during regular business hours, or assigned hours for the position, is required. This is not a remote-work position.

Physical Requirements.

Visual Acuity Requirements.
Close visual acuity and the ability to adjust focus, with or without correction, are required to perform activities such as, viewing a computer monitor or written materials and documents; reading; writing; preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; close visual inspection. Some distance vision and color vision may be necessary.

Environmental Conditions.
A person is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and only exposed to moderate noise; they may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts or machinery such as a copier/printer.
