FINE AIRPORT PARKING is Hiring an Operations Manager Near Houston, TX

Description

The Operations Manager is actively involved in the day-to-day operations of our Houston facility serving Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Core responsibilities include supporting the front-line team in day-to-day operations, performance management, and guest satisfaction while ensuring the facility meets financial and operating goals.

The Operations Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Operations.

Essential Job Responsibilities

This list is not all-inclusive and should only be used as an overview of all responsibilities.

  • Above all else, provide superior service and facilities that ensure guest satisfaction and align with Fine Airport Parking standards.
  • Actively support the team in the day-to-day operations of the facility.
  • Respond to operational issues when needed (at times, after regular business hours)
  • Assist staff in handling customer complaints and operational issues that may arise.
  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees, supervisors, and managers within the location.
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, inventory management, and cash control.
  • Observe the physical condition of facilities and fleet at the location and recommend corrections and improvements as needed to the VP of Operations.
  • Maintain strict operational guidelines consistent with State, Local, and Fine Airport Parking brand standards.
  • Work efficiently while maintaining a harmonious relationship with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to develop growth plans for the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A motivated individual willing to take on new challenges.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred and a minimum of 5 (five) years of management experience in a high-volume parking, customer service, or hospitality environment is required.
  • Progressive management experience (staff of 50 ) with front-line team oversight.
  • A proven track record of customer satisfaction and revenue growth is preferred.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and Microsoft Office required.
  • NetPark knowledge is preferred.
  • The ability to establish a rapport quickly and positively is required.
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule, which may include covering shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively delegate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough understanding of industry market developments.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
