What you’ll do at Figma:
- Manage, support, and grow a diverse team of experienced engineers to drive Figma’s frontend technical strategy.
- Empower our internal frontend developers to quickly ship high-quality features.
- Roll up your sleeves as needed to get involved in the technical details of creating a world-class frontend codebase.
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to set strategy, priorities, and mission for teams and projects.
- Establish trust within and across teams by creating accountability and a positive work environment in partnership with other leaders in the organization.
- Grow your career in an engaged and creative engineering community.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- 8 years of frontend engineering experience
- 2 years of engineering management experience
- Extensive experience with Typescript and React
- Experience building complex web applications with modern frameworks
- Demonstrated leadership skills in building a high-performing and highly engaged engineering team; including a proven track record of motivating, mentoring, and guiding senior engineers.
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
- Experience working with other web frameworks like Redux, Atoms
- Experience with tools and frameworks for building Web applications like Webpack, CSS tools like Tailwind
- Experience with CI/CD of Web applications adopting best practices for testing and observability like Sentry, Datadog
