Job Description: The Role The Finance Director, Business Performance and Insights within the Brokerage Finance team will deliver the data, strategic insights and analysis to advise business strategy and decision making, measure and evaluate business performance, and monitor key initiatives. You will be a key contributor to the development of executive presentations which will be used across multiple forums and widely across the enterprise. This role will provide an opportunity to work across the company and partner with other finance teams across the firm. The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred 10 years’ experience in data analytics, and financial and business analysis, preferably in the Financial Services industry Experience in Decision Support, Customer Analytics, Performance Measurement, Revenue Models and Modeling You are flexible and able to prioritize the team across multiple projects Strong analytic, organizational and communication skills, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concise, actionable story for executive leaders Solid knowledge of financial modeling, presentation, and data visualization tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Thinkcell, Tableau, Business Objects, SQL) and the ability to teach others Proven ability to craft presentations for executive leaders Intellectual curiosity Strong strategic and analytical skills combined with proven business and financial acumen Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with a strong ability to influence others and build relationships Solid organizational and prioritization skills – ability to coordinate, think and act decisively and always with a broad perspective Proven ability and flexibility to manage multiple high-priority, highly visible deliverables in a deadline driven environment Passion and energy in everything you do and a customer obsessed mindset The Value You Deliver Leading the coordination and execution of highly visible deliverables and projects Synthesizing insights for executive management Driving sound decision making for the Fidelity Brokerage business Maintaining positive relationships with broader finance community to ensure consistency in analysis approach, standards for data and definitions, and being dedicated in supporting time critical projects Managing projects and motivating an effective team through solid organizational, collaboration, and coaching skills Partnership with subject matter specialists and key partners Certifications: Category: Finance At Fidelity, we are passionate about making our financial expertise broadly accessible and effective in helping people live the lives they want!
