Fi is rethinking the relationship between dogs and humans. We build products for your dog to live a longer, better life. We are full of experienced, passionate people that have built and shipped outstanding products for Nest, Square, Google and Uber who all care about their dogs. Together, we're bringing a digital revolution to the dog space.

Today's dog industry is a relic from the 80s. We are using technology to improve dogs' lives and make the 100 million dogs in the US live longer. Dogs' life expectancy hasn't improved in decades - we are here to change this. We are keeping dogs safe by allowing owners to keep track of their whereabouts. We are keeping dogs healthy by showing owners how much they should exercise and keep them accountable. We also monitor health patterns like sleep and overall balance of activity versus resting patterns.

The hardest part about being a dog owner is they can't tell you when something is wrong. Fi aims to change that; We're looking for people to join us who love a good challenge—and of course, dogs. We set the bar high at Fi. In our world, "impossible" means "let me find a way".

Fi is looking for a Senior Art Director!

As a Senior Art Director at Fi, you will join the internal design team and be responsible for working closely with the ACD and CCO to create best-in-class creative work that supports the needs of the Marketing team and also contributes to the growth and evolution of the Fi brand.

Your tasks will involve conveying our brand and product details effectively across various platforms, including social media, print, digital, and interactive formats. You should possess extensive experience and proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Familiarity with the Google Suite, Google Drive, and project management tools like Asana is essential. Experience with Premiere & AfterEffects would be a valuable addition to your skill set.

Responsibilities:

• Be equal parts strategic thinker and innovative creative, that has a deep understanding of how to visually communicate a brand’s essence and vision
• Work in a collaborative team environment as part of the design & marketing team to brainstorm creative concepts and work cross functionally
• Lead the creation of compelling and engaging content for social media, paid media, including: advertising, emails, landing pages, and more
• Be a conceptual thinker who can imagine new ways to activate the brand in our creative campaigns
• Identify ways and opportunities we can test our creative, incorporate our best practices and learnings
• Balance design decisions with business needs, finding ways to ensure all creative is not just beautifully done, but delivers on our goals
• Have a deep understanding of responsive design and UX best practices
• Comfortable presenting work to team membersMaintain and organize creative assets on Google Drive
• Use basic photo retouching skills
• Maintain a high degree of attention to detail

• 5-7 years design experience within an agency or in-house creative department
• Strong portfolio required.
• Relevant industry examples are desired 
• Comfortable with cross functional collaboration 
• Expertise in Adobe Suite, Illustrator, and Figma
• Excellent time management skills and precise attention to detail
• Proactive problem solver
• Ability to work independently and excitement to take initiative 
• A keen personal interest in the pet/tech space is also desirable but not compulsory
