We are looking for an experienced professional who is passionate about aviation to Lead our management team at Portland International Airport. The ideal candidate shall have strong airline / aviation ground handling experience.

Responsibilities

Full management of the operation and service delivery to our customers.

Responsible for the safety of the aircraft and welfare of our people

Coordinating day to day activities and follow-up of quality delivery failures.

Pro-activate management in shift planning and adapting to the needs of our customers schedules is vital in this role.

Responsible for the station budget planning and PNL.

Cost sensitive approach to resource planning handling is key to success, identifying lean process and out of the box ideas will set us apart.

Represent the Head of Ground handling at various meetings key stakeholder, airport third party meetings or as requested

Ensure service level agreements are met to ensure the highest level of service is offered to our customer.

Implement standard SOP and operating standards to help showcase Fenix Logistix company as a new growing ground handling company that can be recognized by its standard of work and delivery.

Create a great place to work through recognition and communicating with the team by role modelling the company’s Ethos of employee value.

Deliver consistently high department standards through robust routines and processes, delivering operational excellence and responsible for the safety and welfare of the employees.

Identifying any inefficiencies identified at stations that’s driving unnecessary costs or impacting on quality delivery.

Responsible for the performance management and development of the team at PDX.

Build and develop stakeholders’ relationship across the Airport.

Complete weekly / monthly performance and Financial reports and any recorded incidents accidents deviations from the company standards.

Requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
