Job Summary: Feltmann is actively seeking a Commercial Project Manager with hands-on experience in field operations to lead our commercial construction projects mainly pertaining to Commercial roofing. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all on-site activities, ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining timelines, and quality standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and field teams, driving project success from conception to completion.

Duties:

• Lead and supervise commercial roofing construction projects in the field, ensuring efficient and effective execution of project plans.
• Collaborate closely with subcontractors, and field teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, with a focus on field operations.
• Coordinate on-site activities to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion within budgetary constraints.
• Proactively identify and address field-related project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Facilitate regular communication and collaboration among field teams, subcontractors, and clients to keep Feltmann informed of project progress and milestones.
• Cultivate a collaborative work environment in the field, promoting teamwork and synergy among field crews and subcontractors.
• Supervise commercial crews and carpentry crews, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Maintain accurate field documentation to track progress, changes, and decisions made during construction.
• Implement quality assurance measures in field operations to uphold Feltmann's commitment to excellence.
• Utilize lean methodologies and best practices to optimize field operations and drive continuous improvement.

Skills:

• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience supervising commercial crews and carpentry crews in field operations.
• Proficiency in field operations and construction management, with a track record of successful project delivery in commercial construction projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with field teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Analytical mindset with the capability to collect, analyze, and interpret field data to inform decision-making.
• Knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements relevant to field operations in commercial construction projects.
• Prior experience in fostering a collaborative work culture and managing diverse field teams in dynamic construction environments.
