Job Summary:

Feltmann Roofing is currently seeking a skilled Roofing Technician to join our field operations team. As a Roof Technician, you will primarily focus on repairing and maintaining roofs for both commercial buildings and residential homes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in roofing repairs and possess strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site repairs and maintenance tasks on roofs for both commercial buildings and residential homes.
• Utilize specialized roofing tools and equipment to effectively complete assigned duties in the field.
• Provide support for various roofing projects, including repairs, replacements, and installations, for both commercial and residential properties.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify roofing issues, such as leaks, damage, or wear, and propose suitable repair solutions.
• Collaborate closely with team members, including other roof technicians and project managers, to ensure timely completion of roofing projects.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and industry standards to maintain a secure work environment.

Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in hands-on roofing repairs and maintenance for both commercial and residential properties.
• Proficiency in using specialized roofing tools and equipment for repair and installation tasks.
• Knowledge of various roofing materials, such as shingles, tiles, and metal, and their corresponding repair methods.
• Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail when diagnosing roofing issues.
• Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a cohesive roofing team.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

• Roofing: 2 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• North Charleston, SC 29406: Relocate before starting work (Required)
