Description

Our restaurant is seeking a skilled and experienced bartender to join our team. As a bartender, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests while preparing and serving a variety of drinks and cocktails. You will work closely with the rest of our staff to ensure that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and make them feel welcome

- Prepare and serve drinks and cocktails to customers

- Keep the bar area clean and well-stocked

- Handle cash and credit card transactions

- Assist with taking food orders and maintaining a clean dining area

We are a casual dining restaurant, locally owned and operated in New Orleans. Full-time and Part-time positions available. Shifts include day and evening, plus weekends.

Requirements

• Must be minimum 21 years of age
• Must have current or acquire within 30 days of hire Responsible Vendor certification valid in Louisiana
• Basic mathematical skills and an ability to accurately handle money
• Basic reading skills
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Multi-task oriented
• Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, and be familiar with standard drink recipes a plus!

Physical Demands

• Must walk, stand, or remain stationary during entire the shift.
• Must be able to continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe.
• Must frequently wash their hands
• Lifting, push, pull, move up to 35 pounds.
