Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a remote Sr. Software Developer with a Public Trust clearance. This position requires 10% travel. 

Experience/Skills:

• 4-7 years of experience in software development:
• A strong passion for delivering high-quality code
• Experience in unit, functional, and integration testing 
• Writing and executing on test cases and scripts
• Developing documentation associated with code and end user solutions
• A proven track record of problem-solving and using experiment driven approaches in Dev / Test or Production environments
• Customer focused communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to ramp up quickly on new projects / technologies
• Good eye for reviewing and updating old code, developing new features by using wireframes and other development techniques
• Able to plan with and mentor team members on new solutions
• Experience in languages such as Java, JavaScript, Vue’s, JSP
• Demonstrate the ability to operate and excel within a DevSecOps environment and master the use of DevOps and Security tools to ensure quality and speed of delivery
• SonarQube, static code security analysis using a tool such as Checkmarx or Fortify, and dynamic code security analysis using OWASP ZAP is a plus
• Familiarity with databases technologies a plus

Qualifications

Education:

• Associates Degree or BS Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Certifications:

• REQUIRED: DoD 8570 IAM Level II (Required within 6 months of hire)
• REQUIRED: Agile certification (SAFe)
• DESIRED: AWS Certified Developer
• Security

 Clearance:

• Public Trust 
• Must be a US Citizen able to pass an extensive background check.
• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITCS Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
