Under minimal supervision, designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs complex software programs for enhancements and new products. Responsible for complex concept design through the full development life cycle. Prepares and conducts systems programming test requiring interfacing and software tests. Coaches others in less senior positions.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.Three (3) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Special Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year of experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent * in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Master's degree plus 1 year of experience. The position requires experience with: Spring Boot; JSON API development (Java); and Containerization deployments. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. Position allows for telecommuting from home within commuting distance of Plano, TX.
