What we do: The Enterprise Platforms and Capabilities (EPC) Technology Group function provides leadership to promote innovation and maturity of software development in support of the product and enterprise platform delivery teams for the NY Fed. EPC is comprised of Enterprise Data Platforms and Enterprise Platforms divisions. The Enterprise Platforms division supports the Bank’s mission-oriented business groups and enabling functions by providing solution development on key Enterprise Platforms. Our enterprise platforms division enables key business capabilities including content management, constituent relationship management, workflow management, and governance and risk compliance. Our data platforms division enables delivery of enterprise data capabilities supporting our data strategy, including data management and analytics offerings. All our platform teams (also known as product squads) operate in an agile operating environment where DevSecOps principles promote collaboration across the business and various technical teams to deliver the highest business value. Our teams are focused on increasing speed to market while continuously improving quality, security, and resiliency. Your role as a Technical Platform Owner - Customer Relationship Management (CRM): The Technical Platform Owner (TPO) role is a critical role in the success of the Enterprise Platforms and Capabilities organization and for the NY Fed. This role has an accountability to define the strategic vision and create a prioritized roadmap for their assigned Enterprise Platform. The TPO has a deep understanding of their platform and builds close relationship with various functions in Technology Group as well as Bank Business and functional areas to ensure that the development team’s delivery plan is aligned with business needs and the platform’s strategic roadmap. The TPO manages various dependencies working closely with key stakeholder groups such as National IT, System IT, Business Groups, Enterprise Architecture, and other Technology functions. The TPO works closely with platform architecture to ensure overall alignment to driving future-state business and technical capabilities. Key responsibilities for the TPO: Establish clear vision for CRM Enterprise platform to enable business capabilities in constituent engagement, management, and analytics for the New York Fed and our internal and external customers. Provide guidance to the CRM stewardship communities in the Bank to implement policies, procedures, and best practices to preserve data quality, operationalize user security, improve constituent interactions, and maintain CRM data for the bank. Remain atop CRM technology trends and provide strategic recommendations for rolling out new features as they align to business needs. Champion and adopt a change management culture to advance business processes and capabilities for the Bank. Develop a prioritized roadmap and sequence of epics, features and stories to deliver highest value for the Bank. Partners with Chief Product Owners and Product Owners to continuously assess and maximize delivery of value through enablement of platform capabilities. Seeks to achieve the target state platform architecture, while balancing the implementation of platform capabilities and technical debt considerations while prioritizing the business capabilities. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to prioritize features and ensure delivery aligns with Business Product Owner’s requirements. Accountable for Total Cost of Ownership for the platform, ensuring that it aligns with technology budget considerations. Utilize platform knowledge and assist Product Owners to translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria that the squad can deliver. Maintain a healthy backlog that includes platform epics, features, stories. Accountable for platform squad specific OKRs throughout the delivery lifecycle and communicates regularly with stakeholders and leaders. Work closely with Chief Product Owners, Product Owners, Platform Architects and Delivery Director to establish platform’s business value and support messaging, communication, and adherence to governance requirements. Facilitate release planning with Product Owners and their stakeholders, as well as product demos as required. Assist Product Owners in driving user adoption and gather feedback to enable continuous improvement and enhancements of the platform. What we are looking for: 5 years of hands-on technology experience enabling customer relationship management capabilities with deep techno/functional and solution implementation experience in a CRM platform such as SalesForce 5 years of experience with Product Management discipline within Technology space and Agile/Scrum product development. 3 years of experience in User experience or user outreach contributions (insights, research, design, testing). Demonstrated experience providing influence and/or matrixed oversight to technical teams Comprehensive and proficient facilitation, communication, & negotiation skills. Able to manage numerous programs and work processes simultaneously. Discipline to operate independently, collaborate effectively and thrive in ambiguity with a generalist mindset. Knowledge of software development processes, technology trends, and project management principles. You have curiosity and love solving problems using your creative and critical thinking skills. Experience with a hybrid work environment; proficient in online collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Teams, or similar. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Product Owner).
