If so, then we have an exciting opportunity for you! At Fedcap, Inc., we are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time Community Coach!

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

All that you need is:

  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Currently enrolled in or willingness to be enrolled in JP upon hire
  • Verified resident of housing developments in our service area
  • Experience maintaining a social media presence
  • Experience working with public assistance recipients, formerly incarcerated individuals, and those affected by the challenges associated with poverty
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Organizational skills and strong attention to detail

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AS OUR COMMUNITY COACH?

You will play a crucial role in conducting outreach and serving as a liaison between our organization and the local community. Your primary responsibilities will involve building community knowledge of our innovative Jobs-Plus program. This will require you to actively participate in community events and NYCHA resident meetings as a representative of the program, engaging with community members and showcasing the benefits and opportunities it offers. As a motivator and advocate for the program, you will promote engagement among residents, encouraging their active participation and gathering referrals.
