FBC Catering is Hiring a Catering Server Near San Jose, CA

Job Title: Catering Server (Part-Time)

Location: San Jose, CA

Available Shift Hours:

  • Breakfast Shifts: 7am-11am M-F
  • Lunch Shifts: 10am-2pm M-F
  • Dinner Shifts: 4pm-8pm M-F
  • Event & Swing Shifts also available

Job Type: Part-Time

Responsibilities:

As a Catering Server for our esteemed tech company client, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our employees. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Catering Service: Setting up, serving, and cleaning up catering events for dinner service.

  2. Vehicle Management: Using your vehicle or the company vehicle to transport catering boxes to and from the designated location. Must have a good driving record and proof of insurance.

  3. Customer Interaction: Interacting with employees in a positive and friendly manner, ensuring a delightful dining experience.

  4. Team Collaboration: Collaborating with the catering team to ensure seamless service and a well-organized dining setup.

  5. Language Skills: Chinese-speaking ability is highly desirable, as it would facilitate communication with employees.

Requirements:

  1. Availability: Able to work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM - 10:30 AM and/or 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM and/or 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM consistently. Up to 3 different shifts, may do more than one depending on availability.

  2. Vehicle: Must own a reliable vehicle capable of transporting catering supplies if ever needed.

  3. Attitude: A positive and friendly attitude, with a genuine passion for serving people.

  4. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse group of employees.

  5. Catering Experience: Previous experience in catering or food service is a plus.

  6. Language Skills: Fluency in Chinese is preferred but not mandatory.
