Job Details

• Ensure the reliable functioning of production equipment through continuous improvement measures, predictive maintenance, quick troubleshooting, and repair activities.
• Troubleshoot and maintain a variety of equipment including boilers, air handling units, air conditioning and support equipment, emergency generators, propellant tanks, and electrical distribution systems.
• Perform hands-on maintenance for production equipment used in aerosol and liquid filling.
• Conduct regular testing and treatment of various water systems.
• Execute preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures.
• Carry out testing of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and systems. This includes working with circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.
• Participate in the design, fabrication, machining, and repair of jigs, fixtures, and parts for projects, equipment repair, maintenance work orders, and machine modifications.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting, modifying and/or repairing of programmable logic controllers (PLC), conveyers, and other process equipment.
• Efficiently troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment using both standard and specialized tools.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make calculations related to equipment maintenance (proportions, percentage, area, circumference, and volume).
• Proficiency in basic algebra and geometry.
• Experience in installing and maintaining industrial electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, PLC, and Robotic systems.
• Physical ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs.

Education and Experience

• Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
