Job Summary: We are currently seeking reliable and responsible individuals to join our team as Independent Drivers. As an Independent Driver, you will be responsible for delivering in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. You must own your own full-size cargo van/sprinter van and/or reliable car/SUV.
Responsibilities:
● Safely operate a [car, SUV, cargo van, truck, etc.] to deliver goods to designated locations.
● Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations at all times.
● Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, performing routine inspections and
maintenance as needed.
● Provide excellent customer service to customers or recipients of delivered goods.
● Communicate effectively with dispatchers or supervisors to coordinate routes and
schedules.
● Follow instructions and fulfill delivery requirements according to company policies and
procedures.
● Maintain accurate records of mileage, hours worked, and deliveries made.
Required Qualifications:
● Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is mandatory for operating a vehicle
legally.
● Reliable Vehicle: Independent contractor delivery drivers must have access to a reliable
vehicle (car, cargo/sprinter van, suv, etc.) for transportation purposes.
● Insurance: Proof of valid auto insurance coverage for the vehicle used for delivery
services is essential.
● Clean Driving Record: A clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations
or accidents is required for safe and responsible driving.
● Time Management Skills: Strong time management skills are crucial for meeting
delivery schedules and deadlines.
● Customer Service Skills: Basic customer service skills to interact professionally with
clients and recipients during deliveries.
● Communication Skills: Adequate communication skills to convey information
effectively with dispatchers, clients, and recipients as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience: Previous experience in delivery driving or a related field is preferred but not
mandatory.
● Knowledge of Local Area: Familiarity with local roads, neighborhoods, and routes is
beneficial for efficient navigation.

handling of packages.
Physical Demands of the Job:
● Lifting and Carrying: Independent contractor delivery drivers may be required to lift
and carry packages of varying sizes and weights, ranging from small parcels to larger
items. This can involve frequent bending, stooping, and lifting. Must be able to lift a
minimum of 50 lbs.
● Loading and Unloading: Drivers may need to load and unload packages from their
vehicle multiple times throughout the day, which can involve physical exertion.

posture and concentration to maintain safe and alert driving.

and at delivery locations.
Compensation:
● Payment Structure: Independent contractor delivery drivers will be compensated based
