Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in Human Resources; Certificate or Degree in Human Resources Management preferred; Bachelor's Degree preferred

Reports to: Executive Director

Job Goals: Maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resource policies, programs, and practices.

Essential Duties

  • Recruitment of personnel
  • Conduct initial interview and schedule follow-up interviews with managers
  • Complete pre-employment screening paperwork
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation
  • Maintain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
  • Send reminders to managers as needed when evaluations are coming due and collect and organize evaluations.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, and maintaining records.
  • Obtain quotes from benefits vendors and coordinate benefit offerings for managers’ review and decision. Draft and disseminate benefit information sheets for employees.
  • Process Worker’s Compensation paperwork and follow up on claims
  • Mediate issues between employees; Hear and resolve employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors
  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintain a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys, preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
