THE POSITION:
Our roster has an opening with your name on it
As a key member of the FanDuel State Regulatory Compliance Team, the Compliance Associate is responsible for a variety of activities including responding to inquiries from state gaming regulatory agencies. The Compliance Associate will also provide research and analysis for a variety of compliance and legal matters. Other important duties include maintaining files and documentation and provided reports as required.
THE GAME PLAN:

- Assist the FanDuel process for responses to inquiries from state gaming regulatory agencies, including escalated customer complaints
- Assist with developing framework to monitor and track state regulatory compliance obligations in various jurisdictions
- Draft policies and procedures relating to regulatory compliance as applicable
- Maintain documentation for key developments related to legal, regulatory and compliance activities and provide reporting, as needed
- Assist in managing employee state regulatory compliance technology portal
- Provide support to the business and other stakeholders related to state regulatory compliance inquiries
THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Once hired, the Compliance Coordinator, may be required to obtain licenses from various jurisdictions in order to represent FanDuel before regulators in those jurisdictions
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree, or a paralegal certification, or equivalent preferred
- Ability to develop workflows and procedures with strict regulatory guidelines
- Comfort engaging across departments to address legal issues as they arise
- Passion to take initiative, problem-solve, be a self-starter, and work independently
- Extremely organized, detailed orientated and proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
