Famous Supply is Hiring a Benefits Specialist Near Fairlawn, OH

Reporting to the Payroll and Benefits Manager, the Benefits Specialist is responsible for assisting with associate questions and communications, while ensuring accurate, efficient administration of benefits and programs. 

As a Benefits Specialist at Famous you will play a crucial role in administering our employee benefits programs. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring our employees understand and take full advantage of the benefits we offer.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as point of contact for associate questions and provide guidance on benefit options and procedures.
  • Process benefit enrollment for new associates, ensuring timely completion of required documents.
  • Handle day-to-day activities related to associate benefits programs.
  • Administer Open Enrollment initiatives.
  • Maintain wellness programs and exam tracking.
  • Maintain accurate associate benefit records and generate necessary reports as needed. 
  • Collaborate with benefit plan providers and vendors.
  • Stay updated on compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 2-3 years’ experience administering benefits. 
  • Strong in Microsoft Excel. 
  • Ability to navigate HRIS.
  • Experience with self-funded medical insurance plans 
  • EOI, COBRA, and ACA administration.
  • PCORI filing.
  • Experience with insurance/disability/life claims.
  • Benefits deductions, waivers, and self-billing for ancillary lines of coverage.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Prior use of ADP a plus!
