Job Summary

Family First is growing because people learn about our unique set of family-centric services. We get many referrals from hospitals, lawyers, doctors, financial planners, community organizations and others, and we want to hire an exceptional person who is smart, driven, outgoing, and hard-working. This person will be the “face” of Family First in the community, meeting in person and virtually with leaders from these referral sources (and more!) to generate business opportunities for Family First. The role will report to the President of Family First, and the person we hire will be an important player in the strategic business development direction of the company. Compensation for the role is a salary plus variable compensation based on success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain great relationships with referral sources (hospital discharge planners, doctors’ offices, community organizations, financial planners, insurance advisers and others);
  • Find new referral sources and ways to connect with them and existing channels to drive new referrals;
  • Work with the President to develop strategic partnerships;
  • Work with the President to develop online and local promotional strategies;
  • Organize and participate in local and regional community event outreach and promotional events community events such as health fairs, and workshops to promote awareness about our services.
  • Stay current on and learn as much as possible about developments in the market and among families

Qualifications

  • BA, BS or equivalent
  • 2 years successful experience in business development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening, collaboration, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Proficiency using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and online meeting tools
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Home Care and Care Management services is a plus

Compensation: Family First is committed to providing market competitive, equitable pay to all employees

  • Base Salary Range: $65,000-75,000 annually
  • Bonus Compensation: Estimated Commissions - $10,000-$15,000 annually
  • Commissions are uncapped
  • Commissions are based on successful achievement of position and departmental KPI’s
