Title: Registered Nurse, RN

Position: Per Diem, Urgent Care is open Monday-Friday 1:00pm-9:00pm and Saturday-Sunday 9:00am-5:00pm, non-exempt (hourly)
Compensation: The full wage scale is $30.36 - $43.05 per hour. Placement within the wage range is determined by the candidate’s relevant experience. We also offer a $3.00/hr shift differential for eligible evening and weekend hours. The Urgent Care Centers are open seven days a week, excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Bonus: Employees are eligible annually to participate in discretionary bonus programs, as determined by FCN, which include the Years-of-Service bonus program, the Quality Performance bonus program, and the Performance Recognition bonus program.
Essential Functions:
The RN position provides clinical support for Family Care Networks providers, patients and staff. We are looking for a qualified, motivated individual with a passion for family medicine who can:
Communicate effectively
Provide excellent customer service
Effectively manage patient flow
Utilize clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to deliver safe, effective, and therapeutic patient care
Respond to patient phone messages and answer questions within the appropriate scope of practice and/or as directed by the provider
Process requests, refills, and referrals in a timely manner
Accurately enter and review patient data in the EMR
Prioritize and multitask on multiple projects with frequent interruptions
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated knowledge of clinical and medical office practices
Ability to establish lasting and effective employee relationships in a team environment
Proficiency in using standard computer and office equipment
Good spelling, grammar, typing, data entry, and phone skills
Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality

Our PTO and EIB benefits begin accruing from the first day of employment and employees are eligible to take paid time off after 60 days of employment. An employee accrues PTO at a rate based upon the number of months of service at FCN. A new full-time employee generally accrues 18 days per year. EIB accrues based upon the number of paid hours excluding overtime, with a full-time employee accruing a maximum of 48 hours per year. Benefit eligibility is determined based on the full or part-time status of the position. Employees who are ineligible for FCN’s PTO/EIB programs accrue Paid Sick Leave per Washington State law.
Our 401k retirement plan is designed to support you in preparing for retirement planning and includes individualized financial planning guidance. Eligibility for the FCN Retirement Plan programs is determined based upon years of service and required payroll hours. We offer the following programs:

Additional Benefits: Our clinical staff members are eligible to receive state license reimbursement and an annual uniform allowance.
Required Education: Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
Required Licensure and Certification:
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger coordination, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and listen attentively. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Immunization Requirements: All employees at Family Care Network (FCN) are expected to meet and maintain required immunizations as a contingency of employment. The immunization requirements are as follows: Influenza (annually), Tdap (after the age of 19), MMR, Varicella or a verified history of chickenpox disease, Two-step TST or IGRA (within the last 12 months), COVID-19 vaccine completed series and any additional immunizations determined necessary for the protection of staff and patients. Hepatitis B is also required for employees in positions with a high risk of blood-borne pathogen exposure, which includes the following: Providers, RNs, LPNs, MA-Cs, PSRs at all Urgent Care Locations, and all-laboratory staff. The Hepatitis B vaccine is strongly recommended for all other employees. FCN will cover the cost of required immunizations for any FCN employee. All employee immunizations will be administered by FCN staff except for the COVID-19 vaccine. The COVID-19 vaccine can be administered at a participating pharmacy or other healthcare location. Note: A medical or religious vaccine exemption/reasonable accommodation will be considered by submitting an FCN Exemption form for review and evaluation by the Chief Medical Officer.
