Summary of Position
The Junior Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting the overall People Operations functions within the organization. The position involves a combination of tasks from Payroll, Onboarding, and Employee Relations.
Position Functions
The role will have the following primary responsibilities:
Payroll Processes:
Processing of US and International Payroll for all employees on time to include all changes, corrections, discrepancies, and maintain payroll records on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.
Onboarding:
Input new hires into our various software systems
Assemble Orientation binders
Communication and coordination with Administration, Marketing, IT, and Executive Assistant teams to ensure all moving parts are in order
Filing:
Maintain People Operations and Employee filing system
Employee Relations:
Address employee inquiries and concerns, providing information on People Operation Polices and or directing them to the right contact
Additional Projects:
Participate in projects as assigned
Demonstrate effective interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills through both verbal and written communication with the ability to share knowledge and work effectively in a team environment in a professional manner with all levels of company staff including management and other departments as well as outside vendors.
Additional skills included, exceptional customer centric skills, ability to operate with agility and resolve problems by suggesting and testing solutions, and a high standard of ethics and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and use personal computer (company provided), calculator, company automation system and proficiency in various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Resources field is preferred.
1 -2 years of office experience is preferred
Willingness to continue education and/or complete HR designation is a requirement.
Must be able to sit for long periods of times, communicate via telephone, and operate a computer, and copy machine

Hours of Operation and Working Conditions
This position supports our marketing efforts internationally. This position's work hours are Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm, in a hybrid work environment. Our hybrid environment is 3 days within our business-casual office environment. Of these 3 days in the office, Wednesday is required, and employees may work from home the other 2 days. Our employees choose their schedule. This position requires occasional flexibility for working additional hours to accomplish project objectives.
