Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Security Officer. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong sense of responsibility and a passion for maintaining a secure environment.
Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion
- Monitor surveillance cameras and CCTV systems to identify any suspicious activities
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access
- Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and customers as needed
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage
- Handle conflicts or difficult situations in a professional and calm manner
Qualifications:
- Valid CPR certification
- Proven experience in surveillance or related field (e.g., law enforcement, military)
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and other security equipment
- First aid training is preferred
- Strong observation skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with composure
- Physical fitness to perform regular patrols and respond quickly if needed
