- A high school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate and administrative assistant or other relevant experience involving public contact and record keeping
- Sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle or feel objects and controls.
- Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to: a personal computer, calculator, copier, fax machine and projection and video devices.
- Ability to engage in significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, or repetitive motions.
- Payscale: NE5
- Position Length: 11 months / 217 days

MERIDIAN HIGH SCHOOL General Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support to the assistant principals and counseling office to include clerical tasks such as general organizing, coordinating, scheduling and performing various office functions. This position may also assist with front office support and coordinate communications between administrators, district and site personnel, parents, students and the general public as needed.
