ABOUT THE POSITIONSchool District 49 is actively seeking a Human Resources professional to join our team as Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager provides leadership in various areas of human resources including supervising employment activities, advising supervisors in all aspects of performance management, acting on employee complaints or grievances, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, recommending and coordinating employee training activities. Calendar: Full Year - 261 Days
Reports to: Director of Human Resources
Starting Salary Range: $63,732 - $89,652 based upon previous relevant professional experience
Full-Time or Part-Time: Full-Time

Required Experience:- Three to five years of exempt-level Human Resources experience required
- Experience in staffing, employee relations, and the application of employment laws to real work situations
- Working knowledge of major employment laws and regulations
- Significant experience advising senior leaders regarding policies, laws, regulations and complex personnel matters
- Experience in K-12 education and knowledge of teacher licensure highly preferred
