A new FedEx CSP is looking for a full time Ops Manager for its Linehaul operation in Charleston, SC. The manager will be expected will report directly to the AO. FedEx Ground experience is required. 2 years of management experience is a must.

Compensation

• Salary 70,000-75,000/ year
• Bonus pay

Responsibilities

• Must be able to commute to the station daily to manage the business and assure all trucks are dispatched on time.
• Communicate and coordinate with the HR Recruiting Manager your hiring needs and timeline for new drivers and plan for Peak and other surge times
• Ensure vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections are regular and thorough
• Coach, mentor, train, and motivate the drivers
• Provide and communicate weekly schedules to all drivers
• Maintain and submit monthly maintenance records for each of the trucks
• Act as back-up when drivers call out or as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of linehaul management experience
• Experience driving a tractor-trailer (FedEx ground is a plus)
• Class A CDL
• Work history MUST be verifiable
• Must have a clean MVR (No excessive speeding tickets, reckless driving, DUI, etc.)
• Background check and a drug screen required
• Current Medical Card
• Must be 21 years of age
• Double endorsements required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
