Part-Time Housekeeping Assistant

Monday-Friday, 5pm-9pm

20 hours per week

Faith Hospice's Trillium Woods Campus is looking to add a Housekeeping Assistant to their team of hardworking and compassionate professionals. Faith Hospice through Christian Living Services and Holland Home, focuses on caring and maintaining comfort to the highest level of excellence for individuals who are involved in hospice care. This opportunity provides the Housekeeping Assistant a rewarding chance to work with and around remarkable professionals and patients. This professional will perform a variety of tasks involved in the cleaning of staff work areas, resident's rooms, and common areas.

Job Duties:

• Cleans staff work areas, resident's rooms and common areas through dusting furniture, vaccuming floors, emptying trash, changing linens, etc.
• Washes, and polishes sinks, showers, mirrors, and similar fixtures/equipment. Replenishes supplies of soap, towels, toilet paper, and other dispensable items.
• Performs housekeeping duties for residents as additional care.
• Notifies maintenance of needed repairs.
• Understands the resident and patient rights and incorporates them into daily practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum age requirement of 18
• Ability to read, speak, write and understand the English language
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 60 pounds
• Pass basic physical
• Pass background check
• Minimum 1-2 years of housekeeping experience
