RN Staff Development - Hospice

As Faith Hospice continues to grow, we are seeking to add a full-time (32-40hr/week) Staff Development RN to our team!!

What will you do?

Promote and enhance the health and safety of employees and patients through education
Coordinate orientation, in-service and staff development activities
Design a written plan for all new and reassigned employees which addresses applicable elements pertinent to each job classification
Develop, coordinate and implement staff orientation, training and development programs
Develop and maintain a program validating competency skills testing of direct care staff
Perform competency evaluations
Promote and ensure compliance with the Faith Hospice visit model
Promote and enhance the education and training of employees and patients
Coordinate in-service and staff development activities
Serve as a resource to hospice staff, communicating education changes in regulatory and CHAP accreditation requirements.

Education and Skills to be successful:

Licensure as an RN in the State of Michigan
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field required
Two to four years of hospice experience
The following qualifications are preferred:
- Clinical instruction experience.
- CPR instructor or willing to obtain
