We’re hiring Wound Care Nurse’s to join our skilled rehab & nursing home facility located in Forest Hills, Queens NY. The Wound Care Nurse is responsible for providing specialized care for residents with chronic or complex wounds.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform wound assessments, dressing changes and other procedures

· Keep detailed records of the progress of each resident’s wounds

· Educate residents and families about wound care and prevention

· Provide emotional support to residents during the healing process

· Stay current on wound care techniques and train members of the healthcare team in these techniques

· Improve the quality of life for residents with wounds and in help them achieve the best possible outcome

· Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement treatment plans for residents with wounds and monitor their progress

· Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, such as physician’s and physical therapists, to ensure that residents receive the most comprehensive and effective care possible

REQUIREMENTS

· Valid New York State Registered Nurse License

· Active BLS Insurance

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem, Temporary

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
