Job Title: Registered Nurse (Night Shift)

Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our night shift team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and comfort of our residents throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and symptoms, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to address their concerns and provide emotional support.
• Adhere to all nursing standards and regulations to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing education and training programs to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NY.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred. NEW GRADS CONSIDERED
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate and quality care to elderly patients.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $37.00 - $51.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
