Fairfield Inn & Suites Austin Georgetown is a brand new hotel in Georgetown, Texas. We opened in April 2023. We are fun, customer-centric, rewarding and our goal is to provide our Guests with an enjoyable experience at their home away from home.

We currently have openings at our front desk for the 3p-11p shift as well as the 11p-7a night audit shift. Are you a "People Person"? Do you enjoy going above and beyond to assist others? We are looking for upbeat individuals with customer service experience to assist with checking guests in and out of our hotel. The front desk associate will assist guests with inquiries, making reservations, handle guest requests, resolve problems, and address any guest complaints. The front desk associate will be responsible for receiving guests’ payments and for balancing the cash at end of the shift.

To ensure success you will be professional and pleasant in challenging situations and take responsibility for the satisfaction of guests from arrival to departure. Preferred candidates will be positive, pro-active, and be skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Front Desk Agent Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and thanking guests in a sincere, friendly manner.
  • Checking guests in on arrival and out on departure.
  • Posting charges to appropriate guest accounts.
  • Anticipating and addressing guests' needs and resolving their problems and complaints.
  • Assisting guests with disabilities.
  • Operating switchboard and assisting with inquiries.
  • Assisting the reservations manager with taking reservations.
  • Collaborating and communicating with other internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Complying with company procedures and safety policies.
  • Performing duties on a daily checklist.

Front Desk Agent Requirements:

  • High school diploma or suitable equivalent.
  • 1 years hotel front desk experience preferred.
  • 2 years Customer Service experience required.
  • Well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Physically agile, and able to stand for extended periods.
  • Nights, weekends and holidays are required.
  • Must speak English fluently and Bi-lingual is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
