Fairchild Equipment, Inc. is seeking a stable, hard-working, dependable, and self-motivated Equipment Sales Representative for our office in Bloomington, MN.

This positions focus will be used equipment sales and inventory but will also provide administrative and clerical support to the Equipment Sales Department, for new and allied, on a day-to-day basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Provide telephone and web-based sales of used fleet industrial, agricultural and construction equipment.
• Assist Equipment Sales Representatives, outside sales, in selling used and rental equipment.
• Assist Equipment Sales Representatives, outside sales, to sell units that we do not have in inventory; source and procure equipment needed for deals.
• Publish equipment units on various websites, including our company website, and keep the equipment listings up to date with pictures, add equipment when received and remove when sold.
• Take or request pictures of units for website.
• Maintain and update the master equipment inventory list.
• Take initiative in developing an inventory by bidding on equipment units for inventory as decided upon by the Asset Manager.
• Present equipment to Asset Manager for review to buy, negotiate pricing, coordinate on-site inspections and pick-ups.
• Procure used equipment to sell from wholesalers, other dealers, and off lease opportunities.
• Keep track of off lease units at Fairchild and other Hyster Yale Group (HYG) dealers; notify locations of units being picked up.
• Develop and monitor the sell price of used equipment and trade-in value.
• Establish, develop, and maintain business relationship with current and prospective customers.
• Establish, develop, and maintain business relationship with current salespeople, for both industrial and construction divisions.
• Demonstrate aptitude and knowledge of used equipment; industrial, agricultural, and construction.
• Maintain twenty (20) prepped units in stock for immediate sale within each Fairchild market (North, South, West).
• Provide information to the Marketing Department when requested.
• Ability to travel to all Fairchild branches when needed.
• Willingness to accept new duties and responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications / Requirements :

• High School Diploma or associate degree is required.
• 1 years of administrative or related experience is required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of Excel required.
• Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers and Fairchild Equipment personnel.
• Ability to work in high-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate a desire to be part of the sales support team.
• Demonstrate good customer service skills when customers call in with questions and / or concerns.

Compensation :

Based on experience, drive and motivation, the earning potential is between $60,000.00 to $80,000.00; however, there is no cap on your total compensation.

• The visual acuity requirements :
• The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures;
• transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and / or operation of machines (including inspection);

using measurement devices; and / or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
